Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant job summary
Spalding Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible; Salary: G3 6-9 (£19,904-£20,861 gross per annum). At Spalding Primary Academy, we want our children to become respectful, resilient and responsible learners in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment, where a strong sense of belonging and identity in the school and wider community is valued.
The successful candidate will work alongside our Pastoral Teaching Assistant in our Nurture Room, providing high quality and effective pastoral support across the school. You will be supporting children to access their learning in inclusive environment whilst maintaining high aspirations for all. You will assist the Pastoral Teaching Assistant with the Nurture Room and adapting activities to meet the needs of the children, ensuring appropriate support is in place.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated, energetic, enthusiastic and caring professional with the ability to inspire children. The ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiative is important. The successful candidate must be able to show excellent organisational and communication skills with children and colleagues. Candidates must be able to show compassion, patience, trustworthiness and reliability.

The post is 31.25 hours per week, term time only.
