Pastoral Support Worker job summary
The appointed person will work in close partnership with the Director of Inclusion as part of the Inclusion Team and the Heads of School across TEAM Multi- Academy Trust to encourage and support school-aged children and their families. This is a varied role where the successful candidate will be required to proactively engage with pupils and their families relating to promoting and supporting social and emotional wellbeing and mental health.
The successful candidate will:
Work with school staff and other agencies to provide additional support to children who need help to overcome barriers to learning, targeting help to those children who need it most.
Implementing agreed pastoral programmes like Go Beyond or the Wave project for example with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom.
