- Grade 5 - Salary £26,421 – £32,076 FTE, pro rata (actual salary - £23,515 – £28,548)
What skills and experience we're looking for
- Proven record of raising standards and pupil achievement
- Experience of developing effective strategies to overcome barriers to learning
- Experience of supporting students in a school environment
- Experience of working with children or young people who are vulnerable or disaffected
- Experience of supporting the social, emotional and educational development of students
- Experience of dealing with difficult and challenging behaviour
- Experience of working with and preparing documentation for external agencies
- Skills Effective behaviour management skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with pupils and parents/carers
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external agencies
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders using a variety of media
- Ability to use ICT equipment and software such as spreadsheets, and other packages effectively
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential pupil information in line with GDPR requirements
