What skills and experience we're looking for
Colmers Farm Primary School is seeking to appoint experienced Teaching Assistants Level 3 to collaborate with teachers as part of a professional team to support teaching and learning for SEN pupils. Providing specialist assistance to pupils who need help to overcome barriers to learning, such as those with moderate, severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties and or behavioural, social, communication, sensory or physical disabilities:-
- Prepare learning materials.
- Adapt teaching support according to pupil's needs.
- Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.
- Create an inclusive environment for children.
- Keep records of pupil progress and attend review meetings.
- Liaise with all stakeholders as appropriate.
- Incorporate Individual Pupil targets into daily teaching and learning.
