PCLC CARETAKER job summary
PCLC CARETAKER REQUIRED JANUARY 2025
The PCLC are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Caretaker to join our friendly Site Teams across the trust. There are currently 6 schools within the trust all located in Harlow. The successful candidate will be required to support with the general day to day maintenance of the premises which includes but not limited to: daily, weekly and month maintenance checks, site security, general plumbing, grounds maintenance whilst maintaining and providing a safe clean environment for students, staff and the community.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have some experience working within a trade (painting, decorating, plumbing etc) however this is not essential.
Applicants will also need to have a good rapport with children and young people aged 4 – 16 years. Patience and a sense of humour are essential as you will be responsible for transporting students between schools using the school minibuses during the school day.
Essential; Full UK driving licence
Desirable: D1 entitlement but not essential as training will be provided
37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year (Monday to Friday)
25 days annual leave per annum (plus bank holidays)
Salary: Scale 5 point 9 - £27,115.00 per annum (including fringe allowance)
