What skills and experience we're looking for

Northern Education Trust, The Blyth Academy is seeking to appoint a PDC Manager. The successful candidate will work alongside the DEEP Support team to promote the learning and welfare of vulnerable students in the academy. You will be responsible for managing the PDC Centre and intervene with students who require specific, long term, tailored support. You will be in contact with parents to ensure regular lines of communication between the academy and families to keep them informed of their childs behaviour and to support in the improvement ofstudent’s behaviour, self-esteem,achievement, attainment and aspirations. You will also liaise with external agencies to find appropriate pathways for the students involved to ensure the vulnerable students are provided with the best possible education.

Salary Range: Grade 5, SCP 16-18, FTE salary £29,572.00 - £30,559.00, pro rata salary £26,126.86 - £26,998.88

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment
