£27,745 to £30,141 actual per annum

37 hours per week, term time plus 5 training days

As Rivertree Free School prepares to welcome an increasing pupil cohort in September 2025, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated PE and Outdoor Education Instructor/Teacher of PE.

The PE and Outdoor Education Instructor / Teacher of PE at Rivertree Free School will be responsible for delivering inclusive physical education and outdoor learning activities that support the diverse needs of all pupils, helping them make good progress relative to their individual starting points. This role involves providing a safe and engaging learning environment that challenges and supports pupils, including those with special educational needs, while tracking their development and attainment.

We are looking for an instructor with experience or a qualified PE teacher. Qualified to degree level is essential, along with experience of working with children or young people with special educational needs. A strong understanding of inclusive practices and a commitment to child-centered learning are key.
