We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic PE Coach and Cover Supervisor, with a particular advantage for those with experience coaching rugby. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education, sport, and building strong, supportive relationships within a Christian community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons during teacher absence.
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE sessions, including rugby coaching where appropriate.
- Manage student behaviour and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment.
- Support extra-curricular sport activities, fixtures, and events.
- Contribute to the life of the school community, embodying the spirit of Koinonia.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people.
- Has strong organisational and communication skills.
- Holds a sports coaching qualification or has relevant experience in PE.
- Has experience coaching rugby (advantageous but not essential).
- Is adaptable, positive, and professional.
- Values teamwork, inclusion, humility, and service within a Christian ethos.
Desirable:
- PE/Sports Science degree, coaching badges, or equivalent sports qualifications.
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
