PE (Physical Education) Teacher job summary
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and imaginative teacher of Physical Education to join an outstanding and high performing department. The ideal candidate will already hold or be on track to attain QTS in the UK and have some experience of teaching in the UK. Candidates able to teach Netball, particularly at key stage 4, with knowledge of the AQA GCSE PE course and Cambridge National Sports Studies will have an advantage.
The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering excellent outcomes for all and will be able to demonstrate the professional and personal qualities necessary to consistently motivate and inspire our students. They will be keen to uphold our values and actively contribute to the full programme of extra-curricular clubs and further development of PE in the school as part of a strong, successful and specialist team. Priestlands School, an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school, serves the south of the New Forest. Our catchment area covers an area of outstanding beauty, stretching from Beaulieu in the East, to Brockenhurst in the North, and Milford-on-Sea at its most westerly point.
