PE Teacher job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be passionate about physical education and committed to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among our students. We have a very successful PE department that offer a good selection of extra-curricular activities. We have very successful football teams and recently won the county finals for the Yr 5&6 girls team and the boys team.

The successful candidate will be:

  • committed to providing the very best learning opportunities for their students
  • able to challenge all students to make good progress
  • dedicated and enthusiastic: inspiring and engaging students
  • good at fostering a positive and inclusive environment that encourages active participation and enthusiasm for physical activity
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of students
  • Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events
  • Promote good behaviour and respect among students in accordance with the school’s values and policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations related to physical education
  • a strong team player who forms excellent relationships with staff, parents and students
