PE Teacher job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be passionate about physical education and committed to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among our students. We have a very successful PE department that offer a good selection of extra-curricular activities. We have very successful football teams and recently won the county finals for the Yr 5&6 girls team and the boys team.
The successful candidate will be:
- committed to providing the very best learning opportunities for their students
- able to challenge all students to make good progress
- dedicated and enthusiastic: inspiring and engaging students
- good at fostering a positive and inclusive environment that encourages active participation and enthusiasm for physical activity
- Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of students
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events
- Promote good behaviour and respect among students in accordance with the school’s values and policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations related to physical education
- a strong team player who forms excellent relationships with staff, parents and students
