What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational PE teacher who has the expertise and flexibility todeliver PE to students across the age and ability range. An expertise in teaching hockey and netball is essential. We would like to extend our offer to dance within the curriculum and extracurricular so the ability to teach dance at all levels is desirable.

You will need to bring a sense of energy to the role and a desire to continually improve and share ourcommitment to raising the achievement of every student. You will have the skills and drive to inspireour students, coupled with high expectations and strong interpersonal skills. You will be joining a teamof enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who care passionately about their students and are committedto raising standards and enjoyment in the subject.

We are looking for colleague with a commitment to raising student achievement at all levels as well asan imaginative and creative approach to teaching and learning. It is essential that you have a sharedbelief in our inclusive ethos.

The John of Gaunt School is large and dynamic school with approximately 1270 students on roll.
