PE Technician job summary
An opportunity has arisen to recruit a part-time PE Technician to work within the PE Department. As a member of the PE Department, the PE Technician will provide support within our curricular and extra-curricular provision. Key responsibilities will include: working with all members of the PE department to aid the delivery of PE, provide internal support and cover where necessary, organise the cleaning of equipment, whilst ensuring equipment and resources are in place to facilitate effective teaching of PE across all key stages, and assist in the movement of students and lesson transition requirements.
Essential qualities would comprise of ambition, organisation, patience and an underlying commitment to excellence. Most importantly have a friendly, approachable and empathetic disposition with a genuine interest in the education and well-being of children.
