Join Our Team as a Caretaker - Two Full-Time Opportunities!

Are you hands-on, practical, and take pride in keeping a school safe, welcoming, and well-maintained? We’re looking for Caretakers to join our growing Trust Estates team as soon as possible.

What you’ll do:

  • Keep our school sites in top shape with general repairs, basic carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, and routine maintenance.

  • Respond to daily incidents, from spillages to equipment setup and deliveries.

  • Support the smooth running of the school alongside the site team, including opening/closing shifts, with occasional evenings and weekends.

  • Communicate effectively with children, staff, parents, visitors, and contractors while following health and safety procedures.

What we’re looking for:

  • Practical DIY and maintenance skills.

  • Experience in a busy school or similar environment.

  • Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Willingness to support out-of-hours lettings across the Trust.
