Are you an experienced People professional, able to drive long-lasting change?

We invite you to join our team as a People Business Partner, where you’ll have the chance to collaborate closely with senior leadership to design and deliver people solutions to complex, organisation-wide challenges.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll coach and challenge leaders to grow in a people-centred way, while providing expert guidance across the full spectrum of people matters — from organisational restructures and performance management to employee relations, recruitment, and policy application.

Knowledge of the education sector or experience within a Multi Academy Trust would be beneficial, though not essential.

This is a hands-on and strategic role where your expertise will help shape our culture, strengthen leadership capability, and create an outstanding working environment for our staff.

If you're ready to contribute to a forward-thinking team and make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

What will you do?

Leadership Partnership & People Strategy:

  • Partner with senior leaders to address complex workforce challenges, using data and insight to create effective people solutions.
  • Lead organisational change, including restructures, and coach leaders to strengthen their people management skills and handle sensitive issues.

People Services Expertise:

  • Offer comprehensive support on People Services commitments, including reward and recognition systems and employee well-being programs.
  • Ensure timely completion of cyclical People Services activities, providing support and oversight to leadership and management.
  • Provide expert advice on all aspects of employee relations, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant application of policies and procedures.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Work with the HR Business partnering team (People Business Partner's and Assistant People Business Partner's), and supporting the broader People Services team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice, promoting a collaborative, high-quality service across the Trust.
  • Work closely with the People Services Leadership team to deliver the Trust’s strategy, keeping up to date with best practices and regulatory changes.
