People (HR) Administrator job summary

The role includes responsibility for managing the recruitment process, including placing adverts, inviting shortlisted candidates and requesting references, as well as maintaining the HR database.

The successful candidate will

  • Will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
  • Work confidently with various data formats.
  • Recognaise the prime importance of maintaining confidentiality.

This permanent position is 30 hours per week and term time only including inset days and 1 additional week. (40 weeks per year). The initial rate of pay is the equivalent of £14.35 per hour, paid monthly over 12 months. The pay scale has six spinal points and increments are awarded in April until the top of the pay scale is reached. The actual starting salary (30 hours) is £20,033 per annum approx.
