Are you passionate about recruitment, talent and creating exceptional candidate experiences?
Do you want to help shape the future workforce of a growing and ambitious Trust?
We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking People Partner (Recruitment) to lead the next phase of our recruitment and talent acquisition journey. This is not a traditional recruitment role focused solely on filling vacancies. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves the profession of recruitment — someone who understands how great hiring transforms organisations, builds culture and improves outcomes for children and young people.
Working as part of our People Directorate, you will lead our centralised recruitment team and help drive a more responsive, strategic and customer-focused recruitment model across the Trust. You will work closely with Headteachers and senior leaders to understand workforce challenges, develop talent pipelines and position the Trust as an employer of choice. You will use recruitment and workforce data to inform decision making, improve performance and shape future recruitment strategies.
The successful candidate will also lead and motivate a team of Recruitment Advisers through an exciting period of service transformation, embedding a modern talent acquisition approach that focuses on:
- Exceptional candidate experience
- Talent attraction and employer branding
- Career pathways and succession planning
- Growing internal talent across the Trust
- Building sustainable recruitment pipelines
- Continuous improvement and innovation
We are looking for someone who:
- Has significant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or resourcing
- Is confident leading and developing teams
- Can build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Is data-informed and commercially aware
- Has experience of leading change and improving services
- Is passionate about delivering an outstanding customer and candidate experience
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and safer recruitment
In return, we offer:
- The opportunity to shape and influence recruitment strategy across the Trust
- The chance to be part of a supportive and ambitious People Directorate
- Professional development opportunities
- A collaborative and values-driven culture
- The chance to make a real difference to schools, staff and pupils
