Performance Technician & Learning Manager job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, highly motivated and organised individual to become part of enthusiastic and hard-working team. We are looking for a Learning Manager (Performance)/Performance Technician to support our Performance department on a daily basis and whole school performances and events throughout the school year. The role will also involve supervising classes during short-term absence of teachers in the Performance subjects, Music, Drama and Dance and across other subjects, if needed. You will also provide administrative support and technical support both in lessons and extra-curricular activities for the Performance Department, as well as audio/visual support to the whole school when needed. The successful candidate will have excellent ICT skills, experience of using packages ie Garage Band and a working knowledge of Apple Macs. You will have responsibility for preparing lighting and sound for performances as well as setting up and striking of sets, including the rigging and focusing of lights and the checking of sound equipment, and assisting with construction and painting of sets.
