THE ROLE We are looking for a peripatetic Positive Engagement/ School Inclusion Coach with creativity and resilience to work across our special schools in Barnsley and Huddersfield. In return for your passion and commitment we can offer outstanding professional development, supportive colleagues and a welcoming environment that prioritises your workload and wellbeing.

As our Positive Engagement Coach you will take the lead in the coordination, design and delivery of activities to support children in our SEMH/ SEN special schools. You will work with a variety of organisations and establish appropriate networks to ensure safe and effective provisions at a range of settings.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Experience in a school or similar setting

  • Experience working with children/ young people with SEN / SEMH needs

  • MUST be educated with GCSE Math's and English

  • A-Level or relevant L3 qualification (or equivalent)

  • Car driver with access to vehicle and business insurance

  • Flexibility is key being able to travel between sites and cover within our 4 schools

SALARY/ HOURS Starting salary for this Positive Engagement Coach role is £29,892 actual annual salary working 37 hrs p/w Mon-Fri term time only + inset days + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust
