Taverham is an excellent, 11-18 school with a caring, positive ethos. The school was substantially redeveloped in 2007 and we became an academy in April 2013 and joined Enrich Learning Trust in February 2024. In May 2023, the school was recognised as ‘good’ in all categories by Ofsted and in the Summer of 2023 we achieved our best ever results, with our attainment in English and Maths among the highest in the county.

We are seeking to appoint a Drum teacher with a commitment to achieving excellence for all our students. You will be an excellent teacher, have an unwavering passion and provide excellent outcomes for students. Your primary requirement will be to teach students of all abilities and be able to motivate and inspire young people in their music-making.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide lessons on a one-to-one basis, in addition to supporting and promoting the performance of students within the Music Department and the school.

Enrich Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its pupils and expects all those working at the Trust to share this commitment. All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all applicants.
