Permanent Full-time Faculty Leader for English and humanities with TLR job summary
Standards are high and the school uses Accelerated Reader and STAR Reader to motivate and assess pupils. There are two other specialist English teachers in the KS3 team with a wealth of secondary teaching expertise. There is an Assistant Faculty Leader for English and Humanities in KS2.The school is participating in a national programme to deliver ‘English Mastery’ and the successful candidate will benefit from this CPD and practice.
Applications are welcome from people who:
• have qualified teacher status
• have experience of teaching KS3 English and possibly KS2 English
• are able to teach history or geography at KS3
