The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • Have a strong knowledge of teaching and assessment in all phases of primary practice (EYFS – KS2)
  • Be able to model, promote and develop high quality teaching and learning strategies across the school
  • Be a dynamic effective manager and inspirational leader
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work with all stakeholders
  • Have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a great sense of humour

Moorside Primary School is a coeducational day school for children between the ages of 3 and 11. We are a large 3 form entry PFI school and we are situated on a campus that we share with Moorside High School and the Deans Youth Centre. Moorside is also the lead school in the Salford Alliance of Learning Schools.
