Location: St Sebastian’s Church of England Primary School and Nursery, Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG40 3AT
Hours: 23 hours per week.
Monday-Friday 07:30-08:45 and 3:15-18:00 plus 3 hours planning time
Contract: Part-time/Fixed Term Contract until August 2026
Salary: Grade 4 SCP 7-11 FTE £25,584-£27,269 (Actual Annual Salary £13,271-£14,145)

We are looking for a caring, creative and committed Play Club Supervisor to lead our after-school provision – The Treehouse Club – at St Sebastian’s Church of England Primary School.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children in a nurturing, play-based environment that reflects our Christian values. You will lead a small team to provide a safe, stimulating and happy space for our pupils at the end of the school day.

Your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Creating a warm, inclusive atmosphere where children feel valued and supported
  • Leading a small team of playworkers and ensuring the smooth running of daily sessions
  • Communicating effectively with parents, carers and school staff
  • Ensuring that safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies are upheld at all times

  • Has experience working with children in a school, childcare or play setting
  • Has strong organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Brings energy, imagination and a sense of fun to every session
  • Understands and supports the Christian ethos of our school
  • Is committed to the wellbeing and development of every child
