What skills and experience we're looking for
Harry Hotspur Primary School is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Play Worker to join our after school club team and help supervise children during after school sessions, making sure they feel safe, supported, and happy.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference during their out-of-school hours. Whether you’re just starting your journey in education or looking for a rewarding part-time role, we want to hear from you!
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the supervision of children during after-school sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Support children in their play activities and help create a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
- Help prepare, set up, and supervise a range of activities (arts and crafts, sports, games, etc.) that are fun and developmentally appropriate for children.
- Adhere to the club’s policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding and health and safety.
