St Christopher’s Catholic Primary Academy is a popular academy located in Codsall. As a school we have strong Catholic values which are evident in all aspects of school life. We are looking for Club Assistants for our 826 club.

The appointed candidate/s will join our happy and forward-thinking academy and will work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to help provide safe and stimulating care for children.

  • Help to plan a range of suitable activities for children with an age range of 4 - 11 on a half-termly basis.

  • Treating all children as individuals and to have a secure knowledge and understanding of their needs while they are within our care.

  • Motivating and encouraging the children to participate in activities and helping to promote the children’s self-esteem and encouraging acceptance of children with special needs.

  • Ensure a clean, tidy environment conducive to fostering good Health and Safety practice and to help prepare nutritional snacks for children.

  • Ensuring the welfare and safety of children within our care.

  • Contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of our academy.

  • Work in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, governors.

  • Able to effectively supervise and guide a small team of club assistants

  • Must be confident in directing staff to maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating the daily schedule and staff duties.

  • Demonstrates capability in providing clear direction to support staff during club operations

  • Handle the light snack preparation for the club
