Playworker job summary
About this Role:
The Playworker role will deliver high quality provision of varied activities for pupils aged 4 - 11 years in a relaxed and caring environment. The successful applicant will:
- Have good creative skills in order to create a stimulating environment for children
- Have the ability to use their own initiative in ways to engage the children in indoor and outdoor play
- Enjoy working in as part of a team in a child centred environment
- Be organised and flexible
- Behave in a warm, yet professional manner towards colleagues, pupils and visitors at all times, and contribute to the positive ethos of the school and the Trust
- Be willing to undertake training as necessary e.g. food hygiene
Hours & Pay:
Hours: Monday to Friday; 25 hours per week
Mornings: 7.15am-8.45am (1.5 hours per session/7.5 hours per week)
Afternoons: 3.00pm - 6.30pm (3.5 hours per session/17.5 hours per week)
Grade and salary: Bromley Localised Pay Scale BR4 (SP 12-13) depending on experience.
Contract type: Permanent, 38 weeks per year
