What skills and experience we're looking for
LEO Academy Trust is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Playworker to join our after school club team. You will help with running the day to day sessions which will include a range of engaging activities..
About the Role:
Supervise and engage children aged 3-11 in a safe and stimulating environment.
Plan and lead a variety of fun activities, from arts and crafts to games and sports.
Support children's social, emotional and physical development through play.
Ensure a smooth running of the club, including registration, snack time and pick-up procedures.
A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safeguarding children.
Work collaboratively with the after school club team to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
You will:
Hold a level 3 diploma or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
Need to use your initiative to work on your own, but also
Enjoy working as part of a team.
Contribute to the well-being and safeguarding of all the children and staff.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and parents/guardians.
