PLAYWORKER

Salary: NJC Scale 2 points 4 to 5 (£25,185 to £25,583 per annum FTE). Actual salary of £7,487.43 per annum on point 5.

Contract: Permanent, 13 hours per week (with possible additional hours on Professional days) - Monday to Friday 15.00 to 18.00. Term time plus 2 training days in September and October (38.4 weeks per year).

We are seeking to appoint a play worker to join our out of school club based at Cromwell Academy. The role involves providing safe, creative, and appropriate play opportunities for children from foundation to Year 6.

Key responsibilities will include:

Provide full care and supervision for children

Work alongside colleagues to plan, prepare, and organise an appropriate range of activities

Liaise with the school and parents/carers

Prepare refreshments

Attend meetings and training sessions as appropriate
