What skills and experience we're looking for
About you
- STA Level 2 Award/CertificateorSwim England Level 2 Swimming Teacherqualification.
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)or equivalent.
- Pool Plant Operator Certificate (or willingness to train).
- Experience deliveringinclusive or adaptive swimming lessons.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Commitment tosafeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.

About the Role
- Plan and deliverengaging swimming and hydrotherapy lessonstailored to pupils with complex needs.
- Promote water confidence, safety, and therapeutic benefits in collaboration with teachers and therapists.
- Overseepool safety and compliance, including water testing, plant room checks, and risk assessments.
- Manage pool timetables, staff rotas, and training for lifeguards and assistants.
- Maintain accurate records for water quality, pupil progress, and operational procedures.
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are met at all times.
