Post 16 Learning Support Coordinator job summary

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to work alongside our SEND and post-16 teams in providing outstanding support for our SEND students in SM6.

32.5 hours per week

Term time only plus 5 additional days

The Post 16 Learning Support Coordinator is responsible for providing, and coordinating, support for students with special education needs and/or disabilities. This role involves overseeing transition into SM6 (our post 16 offer) and providing support for next steps beyond this, directing classroom support where needed, mentoring key students, and managing the EHCP review process in conjunction with the wider SEND leadership. The successful candidate would also be required to collaborate with teachers to ensure tailored support strategies are implemented effectively.
