What skills and experience we're looking for

The Outwood Post 16 Centre builds on the great work of the Outwood Academies in Worksop to provide first class A level education. Courses are delivered by many of the same outstanding teachers who teach at Outwood Academy Portland and Outwood Academy Valley and also include specialist post 16 teachers to provide students with a unique mix that generates the very best experience.

Outwood’s amazingly successful teaching styles continue to expand so students at the Post 16 Centre receive even greater levels of challenge and development, while continuing to build on their collaboration skills, leadership styles and higher order communication techniques that we have embedded at GCSE.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated individual to join our Post-16 team as Office Manager. This is a rewarding role supporting the smooth and effective day-to-day running of our Post-16 provision. This post operates as a job-share arrangement alongside the existing Post-16 Office Manager. The successful candidate will work two days per week, providing cover on the days when the other Office Manager is not in post. The working pattern for this role is Thursday and Friday. This is a temporary position in the first instance.

You will work closely with the Head of Post-16 and key staff to provide high-quality administrative and organisational support. The role involves managing Post-16 systems and processes, supporting students and staff, coordinating information, and ensuring effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in supporting student experience, attendance, and progression within Post-16.

We are looking for an individual with high aspirations for young people, who is committed to supporting learning and development beyond Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be confident working in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a calm, professional approach. You will be able to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible attitude.

If you share our commitment to our single goal of ‘Students First’ and want to make a meaningful difference to the lives of Post-16 students, we would welcome your application.
