We are a small, nurturing academy trust comprising:
Whipperley Infant Academy (Early Years & Key Stage 1)
Farley Junior Academy (Key Stage 2)
Weatherfield Academy (pupils aged 7-19) with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and a range of additional needs

About the ApprenticeshipOur Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship offers an exciting, fully immersive route into teaching while working towards gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This school‑based programme blends practical classroom experience with high‑quality training delivered by an accredited provider.
You will:
Teach and learn on the job, supported by experienced mentors
Gain hands-on experience across one of our settings—or, if appropriate, across more than one
Receive structured training in pedagogy, curriculum, behaviour, assessment, and special educational needs
Complete the apprenticeship and QTS qualification within 12 months
Who We’re Looking ForWe welcome applications from enthusiastic, adaptable individuals who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives. You should have:
A degree (2:2 or above) in any subject
GCSE Maths, English and Science (Grade C/4 or above)
A genuine desire to become an outstanding teacher
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
A commitment to inclusion and supporting children with diverse needs
Resilience, positivity, and a team‑focused mindset
Experience in schools—particularly in Early Years, primary education, or SEND—is beneficial but not essential.
