£5.28 per hour

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pre School Assistant Apprentice based at Redlands Community Primary School.

We are seeking to recruit a highly organised, empathetic and enthusiastic Pre-School Assistant Apprentice to work within our Pre-School setting, supporting the Pre-School team.

You will be involved in:

  • Implementing a multi-cultural play curriculum to stimulate children’s interest in learning
  • Assessing and recording the children’s personal, social, emotional, physical and intellectual development
  • Communicating with parents
  • Day to day activities to provide stimulation and support to the children

We are looking for someone who has:

NVQ level 2 or equivalent

Good level of literacy and numeracy

Ability to communicate positively with children

Willingness to adopt knowledge of good practice in Early Years care and education

Ability to work as part of a team
