Pre-School Lead (level 3)

Payscale: Scale 3, Point 7 - 11 (FTE £25,584 - £27,269 per annum)

( approx. £21,392 - £22,801pro-rata)

37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

Have experience of working in a pre-school setting

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

Be able to work flexibly and professionally

About Role

Fledglings Pre-school will be opening at St Christopher's Primary School on 15th September 2025. We require, for 1st September a Pre-school Lead. The room has a capacity for 26 children (3 & 4 year olds) with a full time teacher. The Pre-school Lead will support the teacher.
