What skills and experience we're looking for

  • GCSE in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above
  • NVQ in Early Years Childcare or Equivalent
  • ICT literate including word processing, internet and intranet
  • To have experience of working with students with educational needs
  • To have a paediatric first aid qualification
  • To have at least 2 years of experience in an early years setting with proven management, deputy management or room leader experience
  • To have the ability to monitor, track and assess children’s progress in line with EYFS.

We are recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Pre-School Manager to lead our busy pre-school within Lostock Hall Primary School. The successful applicant will have at least two years’ experience in an early years setting with proven management, deputy management or room leader experience. Applicants must have at least a Level 3 Early Years education and childcare qualification and have a good level of knowledge regarding EYFS. Excellent organisation and IT skills are required as this role balances the need to manage the administration of the pre-school and manage funding with the clear focus on the children in our care.
