Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Pre-school Teaching Assistant at St John’s CE Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish.” We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.
St John’s CE Primary School is a thriving and welcoming school community based in Bristol. With a strong Christian ethos and a focus on nurturing each child’s full potential, St John’s is entering an exciting new phase by opening its very first Preschool. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something new and shape a high-quality, play-based learning environment for our youngest learners.
As a Pre-school Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Supporting pupils and ensuring safe, inclusive access to learning.
Helping to deliver a high-quality EYFS curriculum that meets individual needs.
Building positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
Ensuring a caring, stimulating, and safe learning environment.
What You’ll Bring to Futura
We are looking for a caring and motivated Pre-school Teaching Assistant who:
Holds a minimum of a relevant and recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
Has experience working with children, ideally in an Early Years setting.
Is familiar with the EYFS framework and committed to inclusive practice.
Communicates effectively with children, parents and colleagues.
Works well as part of a team and brings creativity and good organisation to the role.
Demonstrates a passion for creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for our youngest children.
Aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally.
