Premises Assistant job summary
Are you a practical, proactive, and reliable individual with a passion for maintaining safe and welcoming school environments?
Whyteleafe Primary School is looking for a dedicated Premises Assistant/Caretaker to join them to take responsibility for the upkeep, security, and smooth running of our school site. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our school remains a safe, clean, and well-maintained space where children can thrive.

Your Opportunity
Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role or can demonstrate a keen interest in maintenance and DIY, and an awareness of Health and Safety. The successful candidate will work to ensure the security of the school buildings and health and safety compliance, carrying out a programme of maintenance work and monitoring the repair and maintenance work of others as directed by the Headteacher. As a key holder, the role will also include security of the school premises including all buildings and contents.

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GLF Associate 3.1 - 3.5 £25,001 - £25,898 FTE
Hours: 36hrs a week Monday to Friday (52 weeks a year)
Contract Type: Permanent
Closing Date: Friday 26th June at 9.30am
