Premises Manager job summary

The successful candidate will need to be honest, reliable, hardworking, and well organised, with the ability to use their own initiative. This is a hands-on role requiring strong DIY skills and good all-round premises experience. You must be confident in carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks competently and efficiently.

A flexible approach to work is essential, along with the ability to respond to the day-to-day demands of the site. The role also requires the interpersonal skills and resilience needed to work effectively within a setting that supports students who may present challenging behaviour.

Due to the nature of the provision, this position operates on a split shift, with flexibility required to coordinate and manage contractor schedules.

During school holiday periods, the expectation is that the Premises Manager will work daytime hours to oversee contractors and manage visitors on site.

We are looking for a committed and proactive individual who will take pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for our whole school community.
