Premises Manager job summary
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Premises Manager to manage and maintain our school buildings and grounds to a high standard.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the management of the school buildings and grounds as well as day-to-day maintenance and practical caretaking tasks. The Premises Manager must be flexible in their approach and enjoy using their own initiative to fully support the school's needs and developments.
A primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that the school complies with all aspects of health and safety policy and procedures so that our pupils and staff are able to learn/work effectively in a safe, secure and high quality learning environment. You will lead a small team in overseeing the caretaking of the school site to ensure safety, security and sound condition of the buildings, facilities and grounds. You will be based between our two Merstham schools, Merstham Park School (secondary) and Merstham Primary School (primary).
