Mersey View Learning Trust is a medium-sized educational trust with six schools based in the Sefton area. We are passionate about the provision of first-class education for all.
Are you practical, proactive and passionate about creating safe, welcoming environments where children can thrive? We’re looking for four enthusiastic and reliable Premises Officers to become a vital part of our school communities. This is a hands-on and rewarding role where no two days are the same — from maintaining our buildings and grounds to supporting events and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our school sites. As part of Mersey View Learning Trust, you’ll play a key role in helping us provide outstanding learning environments for our students, staff and wider community.
What You’ll Be Doing
🔧 Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance
🔐 Ensuring the security and safety of school premises
💡 Monitoring heating, lighting, alarms and site systems
🚚 Supporting deliveries, porterage and room setups
🧹 Helping maintain clean, safe and welcoming facilities
🔥 Acting as a Fire Marshall and supporting health & safety compliance
🤝 Working closely with contractors, staff and community users
🏫 Supporting school events and after-hours activities.
