Experience working in a school or similar setting is advantageous, though applicants from other sectors with relevant premises, caretaking or facilities experience are very welcome. Candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • A positive outlook and proactive attitude
  • Good knowledge of health and safety requirements
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
