Salary: NJC points 6 - 13, depending on experience: FTE £31,530 - £34,861. Hourly rate £16.80 - £18.57 plus holiday pay £2.35 - £2.69. Hours: Zero hours contract initially, working weekends and occasional evenings, with potential to offer a fixed minimum number of hours per week if desired. Start: ASAP
We are seeking to appoint a proactive and reliable person in the role of Premises Team Support to join our small, friendly and supportive team of 5 who are employed within our Premises Team.
The position is initially on a zero hours contract, working mainly weekends at the School’s two sites: 64 Marylebone High Street, W1U 5BA & 14 Blandford Street W1U 4AZ. There is the potential for optional occasional evening and week-day working, for example to cover the team’s holidays, and to commit to a minimum number of hours per week.
The successful candidate will be a key-holder and mainly dealing with our lettings, but also being responsible for ensuring a clean, tidy, safe environment and a secure site. You will need to be comfortable with lifting and moving furniture and equipment to statutory limits. Having a recognised trade (e.g. electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating) is desirable.
