- Grounds Work: Performing minor maintenance such as weed removal and clearing pathways.
- Event Support: Preparing the College for lettings, assemblies, and parents' evenings, and assisting with the distribution of deliveries.
The successful candidate will:
- Be proactive in identifying and rectifying building defects or equipment issues.
- Be able to work flexible hours to accommodate change in shift patterns or emergency call-outs.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Child Protection procedures.
- Act as a professional role model, maintaining high standards of attendance, punctuality, and conduct.
This role is based on 30 hours per week (working hours 11.00am - 5.00pm, Mon - Fri), Term Time plus 15 days to be worked during school holidays, but it also requires some flexibility to enable cover for team colleagues if necessary and to support lettings and community events out of school hours or on weekends on occasions.
