The successful candidate will have;

  • A good standard of general education, 5 GCSE's including English and Maths
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education.
  • Wide ranging experience of planning activities in a childcare setting.

Further details about the role

As part of this role, you will;

  • Assist the preschool team in providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment in order to encourage and develop children appropriately.
  • Ensure children get the best start in life by working in close partnership with parents/carers to develop independence, confidence & self-esteem, building children’s resilience & well-being.
  • Communicate with parents and other visitors in a calm, friendly and efficient manner, ensuring any complex queries are escalated to the Principal or Academy Operations Manager as required.

The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a teacher to work at East Huntspill Primary Academy. This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join us on a permanent basis. East Huntspill is an exciting, forward thinking, rural primary academy with strong vision: We Learn; We Achieve; We Flourish. The school has a very dedicated, strong team who work creatively, in partnership with families, to enable children to achieve great outcomes. We are part of The Priory Learning Trust, comprising of local primary and secondary schools, enabling us to work closely with a range of practitioners from all phases of education. This is a very exciting time for East Huntspill and a great time to join our primary schools.
We are looking for a teacher to join us for a full time post, in year 4 in the first instance, from April 2023 and the position is open to Early Career Teachers as well as TMS and UPS. This is a great opportunity to join our team and develop your career with The Priory Learning Trust.
