At Hyrstmount Junior School, we are proud to offer a nurturing, warm, and happy environment where learners thrive academically, socially and personally.

Our extensive school grounds are a unique feature of the school, including a forest area, a pond, two large playgrounds, an allotment, and an all-weather pitch. These outdoor spaces allow our learners to engage in hands-on learning and physical activity, fostering creativity, exploration, and environmental awareness.

At the heart of our school are our Hyrstmount Heroic Values: respect, cooperation, determination, responsibility, and empathy. These values underpin everything we do and create the foundations for our learners’ personal development. We are deeply committed to creating a cohesive school community where every child feels valued, supported, and able to reach their full potential.
