Primary Classroom Teacher job summary

The successful candidate will be joining Caldew Lea Primary School as part of CET at an uniquely exciting time, as we celebrate and seek to build on the success of our recent Ofsted inspection, which judged us a 'good' school with 'outstanding' behaviour and attitudes and 'outstanding' personal development. The successful applicant will become part of a well-established and highly effective teaching team., dedicated to improving the life chances of our wonderful children in a fully inclusive, diverse and nurturing school community.

We are looking for a committed and dynamic class teacher who will;.

  • Be an experienced and inclusive practitioner with knowledge of SEND
  • Have experience of across year group planning and teaching.
  • Be an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community
  • Set high expectations and have a commitment to challenging learners to achieve well
  • Be a passionate, caring and inspirational teacher
  • Be self-motivated and reliable
  • Be enthusiastic about inter-school collaborative working and committed to Continuous Professional Development
  • Be able to lead a subject across school.

Please state your curriculum strengths in your personal statement – experience of qualified teaching across a range of age groups would be highly advantageous. Year group allocations for September have not yet been finalised and may be subject to change due to internal requirements, however this role is provisionally allocated to Upper Key Stage 2.
