Primary Cover Teacher

0.4 FTE Contract (2 days per week), with the option to work additional days as required

Following a highly successful pilot, Holy Cross Catholic MAC are looking for an outstanding primary school teacher to work as a Cover Teacher across our 5 primary schools. The successful candidate will be passionate about ensuring the best opportunities and outcomes for all our young people and will have a flexible approach to their working days in order to meet the needs of the schools.

You will play a vital role in providing high-quality cover during the short-term absence of class teachers, actively engaging with the class and contributing to raising standards.

This post is a wonderfully rewarding experience for the successful candidate and a great opportunity to work across a diverse range of primary schools with strong, enthusiastic teams.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified teacher with experience in primary phases and knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • A highly effective practitioner who is passionate about education.
  • An excellent role model for staff and pupils.
  • A team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
