Primary Curriculum Specialist job summary

We are seeking an exceptional and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to work across our English and Maths departments to lead in developing the strong primary curriculum principles of phonics and Maths mastery for students who are still at primary level development. We want you to inspire students and staff and raise their aspirations and unlock their potential to catch up with their peers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for modelling high quality teaching to ensure students can make accelerated progress and use effective resources to deliver highest standards of learning and achievement for all students. We also want you to use your own curriculum and pedagogy expertise to support the develop of other teachers to support the progress of students that enter the school below expected standards in reading, writing and Maths.

Applications are welcomed from primary teachers with varied experience, including exceptional ECT+1 teachers.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:

Has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential

Has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and pupils

Can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.

Has experience of working in a similar school
