At Lift Feversham we're proud of our strong roots in the community and our drive to provide every child with the highest quality education, we are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join our team and help us to continue to deliver outstanding results. We are open to applicants with experience across any key stage.
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has recent or relevant experience teaching and a PGCE.
* Has a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, including the teaching of phonics (preferably using a systematic synthetic phonics scheme).
* Demonstrates excellent classroom practice, with a nurturing approach that supports young learners' academic and personal growth.
* Is skilled at planning creative, engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that build foundational skills and spark curiosity.
* Uses formative assessment effectively to track progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
* Is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment, with high expectations for all children, including those with SEND or EAL.
* Works well as part of a team, communicates effectively with colleagues and parents, and contributes to the wider school community.
* Is reflective, committed to continuous improvement, and keen to engage in professional development.
* Creative hobbies, skills or specialisms are advantageous.
