What skills and experience we're looking for
The role and requirements:
There is a full job description attached, but as well as excellent written and communication skills, including ICT we are interested in evidence of other experience and personal attributes, including:
- You will have a good knowledge of phonics and how to deliver phonics to students and will have a good working knowledge of ways to enhance literacy and numeracy skills.
- You are able to set clear expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students and are experienced at promoting good progress and outcomes .
- As an experienced qualified teacher you will demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge and will naturally adapt your teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all students including EAL children
- Organised and adaptable you will be a natural collaborator and possess good literacy and numeracy skills.

Oasis Academy Don Valley is a coeducational Academy, which admits students between the ages of 2 to 16 years, situated in Sheffield where we celebrate diversity and relentlessly focus on the attainment of all of our children.
