Connect Multi-Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at Wingate Primary School on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

The successful candidate will have experience in teaching KS2 and will play a key role in delivering high quality teaching and learning, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, provide effective assessment and feedback, and create a safe, stimulating and supportive classroom environment.

We are looking for a teacher who sets high expectations, demonstrates strong subject knowledge, and can inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities. You will also take an active role in the wider life of the school, contributing to extra-curricular opportunities, supporting pupils’ personal development, and working in partnership with colleagues, parents and carers.

Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status and have a clear understanding of primary education, including the EYFS and National Curriculum. A strong commitment to safeguarding, professional development, and collaborative working within the Trust is essential.

We are a Rights Respecting School, we place children’s rights at the heart of all we do, ensuring every pupil has a voice, a sense of belonging, and the opportunity to grow in an environment founded on respect, equality and fairness.

Our People Strategy underpins our commitment to being a great place to work. We focus on engaging and including all staff, rewarding and recognising their contribution, supporting professional development, and attracting and welcoming the very best people into our schools.

Our work is guided by five values: we are respectful, ambitious, collaborative, inclusive and resilient. These values shape how we work together and how we support both our staff and our pupils to achieve excellence.
